What is PE?
PE is defined clinically as ejaculation that occurs sooner than desired — typically within one minute of vaginal penetration — causing personal distress or relationship difficulty. It affects 20-30% of men at some point.
Causes
PE has both psychological causes (anxiety, performance pressure, early conditioning) and biological causes (serotonin pathway abnormalities, prostate or thyroid issues). Most cases have elements of both.
Treatment options
We offer behavioural therapies (stop-start, squeeze techniques), oral medications, topical desensitising agents, and advanced therapies including PRP-based regenerative options for refractory cases. Often combination therapy works best.
Doesn't this go away on its own?
Sometimes, with experience and partner familiarity. But chronic PE rarely resolves without intervention — and waiting damages confidence and relationships. Effective treatment is usually achievable in weeks to months.
